About Me
001 / Background
My background is rooted in data engineering, architecting pipelines and warehouses. As systems grew more complex, my focus expanded into platform architecture and AI. The connecting thread through it all? Building the robust foundations that empower others to innovate. Infrastructure that serves at scale.
002 / Focus Areas
Four areas I keep coming back to, each feeding into the others:
- Data Engineering: Pipelines, warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses. The plumbing that makes everything downstream possible.
- System Design: Designing platforms and systems that hold up at scale. The big picture.
- DevOps: CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code. Software engineering practices applied to data and AI.
- AI Engineering: LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, autonomous agents, agentic workflows. Bridging the gap between raw models and real-world utility.
003 / Interests
Beyond the day-to-day, I'm drawn to how AI is changing the way we build and think. Not the hype, but the real shift underneath. I like building things that feel simple on the surface but solve hard problems under the hood. I care about clarity in systems, in design, in how ideas are communicated. And I'm always chasing the next thing I don't fully understand yet.
